The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Launches the National University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications Championship

 

The President of the University, Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, accompanied by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, attended the launch ceremony of the National University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications Championship by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

In his address, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs emphasized that the modern teaching and learning environment relies on advanced tools and software that contribute to knowledge production. He noted that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has established ten colleges specializing in artificial intelligence, in addition to various academic programs and research centers. He pointed out that adopting these approaches in education and scientific research represents a strategic investment that supports development and strengthens the knowledge economy.

The opening ceremony included speeches by the President of the American University in Baghdad and the CEO of the Center of Excellence for Innovation and Development, as well as several presentations in the fields of creative leadership.

It is worth mentioning that the National University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications Championship is based on specialized competitive tracks covering the mechanical, electronic, software, and engineering aspects of modern robots. Applications to the championship platform will be accepted for thirty days. Application platform for the National University Championship (NURAI):
