The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Anbar University, under the patronage of the Dean, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, organized an introductory workshop entitled “The National University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications Championship (NURAI2026).” The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and students interested in modern technology fields. Presentations were given by Assistant Professor Dr. Atheer Basil Abdulkarim and Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Farhan.

The workshop included an introduction to the various championship tracks, including agricultural, industrial, environmental, and medical tracks, as well as community service and education tracks. It also covered the team formation process, participation requirements, evaluation criteria, and judging procedures.

The workshop also reviewed the team registration steps and project submission requirements, in addition to presenting the championship timeline leading up to the final qualifying rounds. This workshop aims to promote a culture of innovation and creativity among students and develop their skills in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence, thereby contributing to supporting the scientific and technological environment within the university.
