Regular and planned audits involving continuous monitoring to ensure that the institution or program meets the specified standards or requirements to maintain the development of the desired level of performance and services in order to match the standard practice in internationally distinguished institutions or programs.

 

Department message

Building and establishing an effective quality assurance system through planning, management, and leadership processes to enhance the quality of the academic program. In addition to achieving academic accreditation standards in the teaching process of the educational program, as well as ensuring quality control in administrative work and evaluating all its activities, developing and improving performance in all aspects, and promoting a culture of quality to make the program a leader in achieving quality standards and the accredited characteristics of graduates.

5.Monitoring the development of professional skills and abilities of technical and administrative support staff and keeping up with modern scientific advancements ensures integrity, fairness, and equality in all its academic and administrative practices.

6.Preparing and updating the program description and ensuring the availability of reliable and general information that includes the program's description, performance, and achievements in accordance with the beneficiaries' needs.

7.Monitoring the values of scientific integrity, intellectual property rights, ethical practices, and good conduct in academic, research, administrative, and service activities, as well as other areas related to the academic program.

8..Completing performance indicators and the necessary evidence to meet the standards according to the academic program requirements and submitting them to the Quality Assurance Department at the end of the academic year.

9.Identifying strengths and weaknesses, recommendations for improvement, and their approval by the college council.

10. Preparing an annual report on the college's achievements and improvement plans and sending it to the Quality Assurance Department.

11.Follow up on the preparation of the course report at the end of the semester for all departments, collect it, and send it to the academic accreditation coordinator.

12.Holding periodic meetings during the semester to discuss any updates, gather feedback from course instructors, and work on improving the educational process.

Quality Assurance Unit

5.Proposing the necessary updates to the program description after reviewing it, the content of the core and auxiliary courses, and references, and having them approved by the department council and submitted to the relevant committees for the program to take the necessary actions for their update.

6.Ensuring that study plans and teaching strategies in the curricula are aligned with the desired learning outcomes.

7.Searching for advisors from academics related to the academic program in coordination with the scientific departments, the Academic Program Management Committee, and the Supervisory Committee.

Performance Evaluation Unit

Accreditation Unit

6.Ensuring the delivery of course reports (undergraduate - graduate) for the previous semester to the heads of academic departments/faculty members in the new semester for review and development planning.

7.Completing performance indicators and the necessary evidence to meet the standards according to the academic program requirements and submitting them to the scientific departments committee at the end of the academic year.

8.Ensuring the existence of development plans for the academic program based on the results of the annual evaluation.

9.Following up on curriculum development according to scientific research results, along with completing internal and external reviews and comparisons with similar programs locally and globally.

10.Conducting developmental research to create bachelor's and graduate programs that align with labor market requirements and global trends in the fields.

11.Evaluating proposals for new programs or substantial modifications to the academic program, accepting or rejecting them in coordination with the program management committee, ensuring their quality, and submitting recommendations to the committee for discussion.

Laboratory Quality Unit
