Scientific Participation in the Iraqi Digital Space Forum – Second Edition
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology participated in the second edition of the Iraqi Digital Space Forum, represented by Professor Dr. Khattab Muajjal Ali, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, accompanied by a group of his students.
The forum witnessed the selection of two research papers from among 200 submitted student theses and dissertations supervised by Professor Dr. Khattab Muajjal Ali. This achievement reflects the high level of scientific rigor and distinguished research standing of the university's faculty and staff in general, and the college in particular.
As part of the preparations for the forum, discussions focused on prospects for enhancing the digital space in Iraq and the role of international expertise in supporting the Iraqi government's efforts in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and building the Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). This contributes to developing the national digital environment according to the latest global standards.
This international participation underscores the growing global interest in the forum and highlights the importance of its outcomes in supporting Iraq's efforts to build an advanced digital system that aligns with the requirements of modern technological development. At the conclusion of the forum, shields were distributed to the winning participants in recognition of their efforts and scientific contributions.
