Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the college held an awareness workshop titled "The Role of Society in Dealing with People with Disabilities in the Field of Education," attended by a number of students on Monday, 12-5-2025.

The workshop aims to highlight the importance of integrating individuals with special needs into the educational environment and to enhance the role of the community in supporting them and enabling them to overcome the challenges they may face. The workshop was presented by:

The workshop included presentations and interactive discussions among the attendees, where the importance of creating an inclusive and equitable educational environment for everyone was emphasised, as well as raising community awareness about the necessity of providing appropriate support for people with special needs.

The attendees praised the importance of these workshops in raising academic and community awareness, emphasising the need to continue organising such events that support special groups in society.
