As part of the annual scientific activities plan and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology (Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman), the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Unit held a course titled "Usury and Fraud and Their Prohibition in Islamic Jurisprudence," which lasted for two days and concluded with a written exam in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall at the college. The course was lectured by

A number of faculty members, in addition to several students, participated in the course.

With the aim of educating the participants about the legal aspects related to financial and behavioural transactions in light of Islamic jurisprudence...

The course covered the definition of usury and its types, its legal rulings, as well as fraud and its various forms, and its effects on individuals and society, based on Quranic texts, Hadith, and the opinions of scholars. The course witnessed notable interaction from the participants, given its importance in promoting ethical and professional values in the workplace and society.
