The College of Computer Science and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Women's Affairs Unit, organized an educational lecture titled "The Role of Technological Women in Building a Successful Family" on Monday, February 25, 2025. The lecture was presented by Eng. Danya Abdul Qahar and Eng. Mayad Ali. The importance of women's role in modern society was highlighted, as well as how they can leverage technology to achieve a balance between family and professional life. Prior to the lecture, educational pamphlets on the topic were distributed in the college corridors to encourage students to participate in this important event.

The lecture was attended by a large number of female and male students, whose presence was very important in this lecture to open up horizons for young people regarding future lifestyles and their significance in developing technological skills. The lecture was opened with a welcoming speech by the head of the Women's Affairs Unit, who emphasized the importance of supporting women in the field of technology and their effective role in building successful and stable families.

The two prominent speakers in the fields of technology and family life spoke, each sharing her personal experience and how technology helped her achieve her family and professional goals. A range of technological tools that can contribute to improving time management and communication within the family were also reviewed.

At the end of the lecture, a discussion was opened for third and fourth-year students.
