
Opening of a bazaar at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology
As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, the esteemed Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, inaugurated a bazaar featuring handicrafts and food products. The event was organized by the Student Activities Unit and the Women's Affairs Unit at the college on Monday, December 2, 2024.
The bazaar was held in conjunction with the launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week and continued for two days. The Dean of the college and the attendees toured the exhibition, which included a display of handicrafts, accessories, henna, traditional foods, perfumes, snacks, sweets, and natural products. The organization of the charity bazaar aims to build bridges of cooperation between the college and the local community, serve a group of non-working housewives, and support small business owners.
The Dean emphasized the importance of organizing such activities that contribute to serving the local community, fostering its development, and instilling a spirit of social solidarity and volunteerism.
