With the commencement of Global Entrepreneurship Week and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology (Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman), the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized a workshop titled "Smart Cards and Electronic Payment Cards and Their Approval Mechanism" on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in the (Al-Khwarizmi) hall at the college. And it was presented by (Professor Dr. Ali Maki Saghir).

The workshop aimed to introduce participants to smart cards and electronic payment cards, their importance, and highlight the technologies used, explaining how to use these cards in various fields. How to use electronic payment methods effectively and securely, ensuring the acquisition of an independent electronic payment card to facilitate the payment of financial dues, as well as keeping up with digital technologies.

The workshop included several topics, such as the definition of electronic payment, the history of electronic payment cards, the difference between electronic payment cards and cash payment, as well as the steps to obtain an electronic card and tips for protecting the personal electronic card.

The workshop included interventions and questions from the attendees, and the lecturer engaged in detailed discussions and answered all questions comprehensively.
