Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Salah Awad Salman, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organised a workshop entitled (Terrorism and its danger to the individual and society) at the college hall (Al-Khwarizmi) on Wednesday 6-11-2024. Dr Mohammed Raad Tahsin, Faculty of Law, Anbar University, spoke about terrorism and its impact on society and the state and its distinction from what is suspected, presented by Dr Mohammed Raad Tahsin.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of terrorism on Iraqi society, and to explain the position of the constitutional, criminal and administrative legislator on this crime and ways to combat it. The workshop witnessed a wide student interaction for the information it provided on the phenomenon of terrorism, which is spreading in various forms in many countries. In turn, the Dean praised the role of the lecturer and extended his thanks and gratitude to him for his spirit of cooperation and effort to raise the awareness of the community on such important topics.
