Awareness Campaign for Women's Affairs at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Salah Awwad Salman, the Women's Affairs Unit organised an awareness campaign on Sunday 13/10/2014 on the occasion of ‘Pink October’. The campaign aims to educate the community about the causes and methods of preventing tumours that affect women.
The campaign included placing a set of posters in the central corridors of the college, in addition to distributing brochures to students and neighbouring colleges. The unit also communicated with the health centre to spread awareness about the importance of breast cancer prevention. This initiative comes within the framework of the unit's efforts to promote health culture and contribute to the fight against this disease.
