Awareness Campaign to Promote Integrity and Combat Corruption

 

On Sunday, May 10, 2025, the National Strategy Committee for Integrity and Combating Corruption at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized an awareness campaign to promote a culture of integrity and raise awareness of the dangers of corruption. This initiative aligns with the directives of the University of Anbar's presidency and the college's deanship, which aim to solidify ethical and academic values.

The campaign was supervised by the committee's chairman, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ihab Abdul-Jabbar Kamel, in cooperation with the head of the Legal Division, Dr. Walaa Ahmed Rashid. It included the distribution of informational brochures highlighting the importance of integrity and its role in building a sound university environment based on transparency and adherence to institutional values.

The campaign emphasized the importance of disseminating a culture of integrity among students and faculty members, and raising awareness of the dangers of corruption in its various forms, thereby contributing to strengthening social responsibility and reinforcing core academic principles. This initiative is part of a series of activities implemented by the college in support of the national strategy for integrity and combating corruption, and as an embodiment of its keenness to prepare a conscious generation that possesses firm moral values ??that contribute to serving society and building its institutions.
