The College of Computer Science and Information Technology, under the patronage of its Dean, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, organized a scientific workshop entitled "Institutional Accreditation Standards" on Thursday, April 30, 2026. The workshop, attended by all faculty members, was presented by the Dean.

The workshop addressed the most prominent approved institutional accreditation standards and the mechanisms for their implementation in educational institutions. This contributes to improving the quality of academic and administrative performance, as well as enhancing educational outcomes to meet the demands of the labor market. The importance of adhering to these standards in achieving institutional excellence and enhancing the reputation of the educational institution both locally and internationally was also discussed.

The workshop witnessed active participation from attendees, who posed a number of questions and offered insightful comments that enriched the workshop's discussions. Participants emphasized the importance of continuing to hold such scientific activities that contribute to the development of academic work.
