As part of Anbar University's efforts to enhance its partnerships with national institutions, a delegation from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology visited the headquarters of the Media and Communications Commission in Baghdad, under the direction of the University President. The delegation met with the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Media and Communications Commission, Dr. Eng. Balasim Salem. The delegation included the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, and the Head of the Computer Networks Systems Department, Professor Dr. Ahmed Nouri Rashid. During the meeting, they discussed prospects for academic and scientific cooperation between the two sides, particularly in the fields of communications and information technology, through supporting the university's digital transformation initiatives and the establishment of 5G laboratories.

During the meeting, the college delegation extended a formal invitation from the University President to the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners to visit Anbar University and explore ways to develop joint cooperation that serves the educational process and strengthens integration among governmental institutions. The head of the commission also affirmed his department's commitment to supporting academic institutions and expanding cooperation with them, emphasizing the importance of partnership between the academic and regulatory sectors in developing the telecommunications sector and promoting scientific research.

This meeting aligns with the University of Anbar's efforts to engage with national institutions and build effective partnerships that contribute to developing the educational environment and raising the academic and professional standards of its students.
