
A course titled (The Impact of Technology on Renewable Energies and Their Legal Rulings)
As part of the annual scientific activities plan and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology (Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman), the Psychological Guidance and Educational Counselling Unit organised a course titled "The Impact of Technology on Renewable Energies and Their Sharia Regulations." The course lasted for two days, starting from Tuesday and concluding with a written exam on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall at the college. The course was lectured by:

- Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahdi Jubeir
-Assistant Professor Taysir Ahmed Yaseen
A number of college professors and students participated in the course.
The course addressed the concept of renewable energy, clarified the related fields, highlighted its various benefits and multiple advantages, and explained its impact on reducing reliance on traditional energy sources and minimising their harms. It also emphasised its importance in maintaining environmental sustainability and reducing pollution levels. Technology plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of renewable energies, making them more sustainable and environmentally friendly. From a Sharia perspective, supporting these energies is permissible and may even be recommended due to their public benefits, provided that any prohibited financial transactions are avoided.
