Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the University Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific seminar as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week activities. The seminar, held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in Al-Khwarizmi Hall, was titled:

“The Role of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Improving Network Performance.” It addressed the importance of artificial intelligence applications in developing network infrastructure, enhancing its efficiency, and improving performance and security. The seminar also reviewed the latest technologies and algorithms used in data analysis, fault prediction, and intelligent management. The speakers were:

Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Mahdi Jubair

The seminar was attended by a number of professors, staff members, and students who actively participated in the discussions and scientific debates, enriching the session and emphasizing the importance of keeping pace with the rapid developments in artificial intelligence and its applications within the fields of computer science and information technology. This event comes as part of the college’s commitment to supporting scientific activities that contribute to promoting a culture of leadership and innovation, developing students’ skills, and opening new horizons of knowledge that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market.
