Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the College's Career and Employment Unit, in cooperation with the College of Medicine and the College of Dentistry at Anbar University, held a training seminar entitled: “Dealing with Emergencies: Lifesaving Techniques and Procedures.” The seminar took place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in Al-Khwarizmi Hall. The seminar was presented by:

Dr. Sara Yassin Khader – College of Dentistry

The seminar covered the most important first aid procedures and methods for dealing with emergencies, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and proper procedures for responding to cases of suffocation, loss of consciousness, or sudden injuries. Emphasis was placed on the importance of a rapid response and its role in saving lives and reducing complications.

Supervision and follow-up were provided by: Duaa Yassin Khader – Head of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit.

The seminar targeted faculty, graduates, and students, and witnessed significant attendance and interaction from participants, who emphasized the importance of these training courses in promoting health awareness and acquiring essential skills for dealing with emergencies both on and off campus.

This event is part of the college's efforts to support training and awareness activities that contribute to developing the skills of its staff and students, and to promoting a culture of safety and social responsibility.
