Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology Meets with First-Year Students

 

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Professor Dr. Salah Salman Awad, held a meeting with first-year students from the college's departments. He began by welcoming the new students and congratulating them on joining the academic institution. During the meeting, the Dean provided a set of guidelines and instructions relevant to university students, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the core academic values ??that reflect the university's standing and prestige.

The meeting included a discussion of student activities and ways to enhance student participation, as well as the role of these activities in building students' character and developing their skills. The meeting also addressed raising awareness about negative phenomena and methods of protecting students, in addition to the efforts made by the university, its colleges, and community institutions to reduce these phenomena and create a safe and supportive university environment.

The meeting was attended by the department heads and a number of faculty members. At the end of the meeting, the students were assigned to their respective academic departments, accompanied by their department heads.
