The University Psychological Counseling Unit, under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, organized a training course titled "The Rulings on Usury in Contemporary Financial Transactions and Loans in Islamic Jurisprudence." This course was part of the college's annual scientific activities plan and was held in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall at the college. The two-day course concluded with a written exam to assess the participants' understanding of the course content. The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Ibrahim Ahmedou and Lecturer Dr. Majid Hilal Talal from the College of Engineering. A number of faculty members and students participated in the course, which aimed to raise awareness among participants about the Sharia-compliant aspects of financial and behavioral transactions in light of Islamic jurisprudence, particularly in light of contemporary developments in banking and finance.
