As part of the annual scientific activities plan and under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College (Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman), the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Unit held a course titled "Extremism: How to Detect and Prevent It Using Artificial Intelligence" on Wednesday and Thursday, March 5-6, 2025, in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall at the college. A number of faculty members and students participated in the course. This course aims to shed light on the concept of extremism, its causes and effects, and how artificial intelligence can be an effective tool in detecting and limiting its spread. It discussed the role of modern technologies in content analysis, detecting extremist patterns, and preventing the spread of extremist thought online. Following the conclusion of the course, a written test was held, participated in by several faculty members, staff, and students.
