
Within the framework of joint cooperation between the Presidency of the Anbar Court of Appeal and the University of Anbar, a workshop was held entitled: Artificial Intelligence and its Role in Judicial Work.
The workshop was attended by the President of the Anbar Court of Appeal and a number of judges of the Criminal, First Instance, Misdemeanor, Investigation, and Personal Status Courts, in addition to the Public Prosecutor of the Anbar Court of Appeal.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussam Jassim Muhammad, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, and Lecturer Dr. Muhammad Salah Ibrahim, Rapporteur of the Artificial Intelligence Department at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology.
The workshop discussed the definition of artificial intelligence and its objectives, in addition to its applications in the judicial field, highlighting its role in addressing issues related to criminal and civil responsibilities, in line with global technical developments and their importance in supporting judicial work and improving its efficiency.
