In a grand scientific celebration held in Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad, the College of Computer Science and Information Technology witnessed the honoring of one of its students' projects during the annual Iraqi Science Day awards ceremony organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The ceremony was attended by the esteemed Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the esteemed President of Al-Anbar University, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, the esteemed Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Hashem Khalil, along with a large number of esteemed academic officials and researchers.

The graduation project of the student (Banan Haitham Abdulhamid) and her supervisor, the esteemed Professor Dr. Khattab Mujahed, achieved (second place) among the best graduation projects of students at the national level in Iraq. This recognition is a source of pride, as it reflects the academic and research excellence of the college's members and students.

This achievement highlights the efforts made by the university administration, represented by its esteemed president, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, and the direct interest of the college's deanship, represented by its esteemed dean, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman. This interest is reflected in the development of research that contributes to finding practical solutions to technical and societal problems. It also reflects the continuous support for scientific research in Iraq and the importance of promoting innovation and creativity in the field of computer science and information technology.

Such awards encourage students and researchers to present more projects that keep pace with global technological developments and support Iraq's scientific journey.
