Under the patronage of the esteemed Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, the Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit organized a workshop titled "Introduction to Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Units" on Thursday, November 28, 2024. The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Ibrahim Ahmed and Instructor Dr. Ahmed Mahdi.

It aimed to familiarize students with the tasks of the Educational Guidance Unit and to develop a plan for the educational guidance program, which includes setting program objectives and identifying students' needs and their educational and psychological problems. And identifying academically outstanding students and academically delayed students and creating a program for both. As well as contributing to the development and enhancement of the advisor's ability to face problems, reach solutions, and improve their decision-making skills. And developing social ties with students' parents through visits and meetings.
