Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr Salah Awwad Salman, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held on Wednesday (16/10/2024) at the College's Al-Khwarizmi Hall a counselling workshop (gender culture and its danger to society). The counselling workshop, in which Prof. Murtada Mohammed Abd aimed to raise community awareness of the phenomenon of gender and homosexuality and reduce it, and urge parents to follow their children and not be drawn towards Western culture because of its legal and legal violations of Arab tradition, Islamic provisions and human nature and instinct. The first theme dealt with the psychological risks of the gender phenomenon, the second theme was about the social risks of the phenomenon, while the third theme dealt with the educational risks. The workshop stressed the need for the media to play its role in addressing this phenomenon, strengthening the role of government institutions by enacting laws that criminalise its promoters, in addition to the role of educational cadres in educating students about the dangers of this phenomenon that is alien to our society.
