Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salah Awwad Salman, the Women's Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Oncology Centre at the Anbar Health Department, held a scientific seminar entitled (Breast Cancer, its symptoms, treatment methods and the importance of early detection) on Tuesday, 15-10-2024, in Al-Khwarizmi Hall, in which the following lectured:

Dr. Nabil Mazhar Al-Hadini, Director of the Oncology Centre.

Dr Suzan Jamal Ghadib / Periodic Resident Physician.

Dr Rahma Jalal Kanaan / Periodic Resident Doctor.

The session was moderated by the head of the Women's Affairs Unit, Dr. Makarem Abdulwahid Al-Turki, where the seminar included a clinical explanation from the doctors to female teachers and students, and important recommendations, including accelerating the review of specialised centres and early examination, and spreading awareness to parents and society about the importance of periodic examination.

The seminar touched on the scientific development in the treatment methods of this disease and the importance of preventing it by periodic and early examination.
