On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, the esteemed Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, received Mr. Mohammed Qasim Hussein, the respected Director of the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights in Anbar Province, along with Mr. Thakir Mardhi Matlak, the esteemed Head of the Publishing and Documentation Division of the Commission's office, and their accompanying team, in his office. This visit comes as part of efforts to enhance academic cooperation and communication between the college and the Human Rights Commission. Professor Mohammed Qassem expressed his admiration for the academic and research developments and activities that the college has achieved recently. He praised the efforts of the Dean and the Women's Affairs Unit in enhancing community participation. During the meeting, ways of future cooperation between the two sides in the fields of human rights, education, and academic training were discussed. At the end of the visit, both parties presented certificates of appreciation as a form of recognition for the efforts made by both sides in promoting human rights and education. The dean expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Mohammed Qassem for his kind visit, emphasizing the importance of such visits in strengthening academic ties and exchanging experiences. It is worth noting that the College of Computer Science and Information Technology continues its efforts to achieve academic excellence by developing its educational programs and enhancing partnerships with leading institutions in the field of human rights.
