Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of Al-Anbar University, a meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council was held at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology on Monday, July 8, 2024.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the college, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman, and was attended by all council members from the college and other sectors in the province. The attendees were provided with a detailed overview of the council's structure and responsibilities. Several issues were discussed, with a focus on specific matters that will be raised in the council's minutes. It was agreed to hold regular meetings and gatherings, either in person or electronically, as needed. We hope that this council will achieve the necessary goals to bridge the gap between the college's outputs and the job market.
