As part of the annual scientific activities plan and under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Professor Dr. Salah Awad Salman... the Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance Unit organised a course titled (Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Protecting Privacy in the Digital Age and the Islamic Jurisprudential Ruling on Digital Privacy Breaches). The course lasted for two days, starting from Wednesday and concluding with a written exam on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall at the college. The course was lectured by

A number of faculty members and students also participated in the course.
The course aims to understand the role of artificial intelligence in data and privacy protection, review the challenges and digital threats related to hacking, provide a jurisprudential perspective on the concept of hacking and electronic espionage, and discuss technical and legal solutions to enhance information security. Finally, the course addressed the Islamic Sharia's stance on privacy violations, the jurisprudence of harm and benefit in digital issues, and the punishment for hacking in Islamic jurisprudence and modern laws.
